Why you need a log washer？
In material handing plant such as stone crushing plant，sand washing plant，sand making plant etc. the clay and impurities on the surface of particle is harmful, in oder to remove this impurities, a log washer is the best choice.
Working principle and structure of logwasher
The main part of logwasher is installed by 10-14 ° inclination. When the logwasher working, the two spiral shaft in the tank rotate in opposite direction. Material is fed into the middle of the two spiral axes from the bottom of the tank to the overflow end about 1/3. Coarse material is transported to the front end of the tank through repeated washing of the blades. When discharged, it is washed by spray water to reach qualified ores. The mud and impurity are washed from the ore flows out through the overflow weir at the back of the tank.

Differences between log washer and spiral sand washer
Log washer is similar with spiral sand washer in structure , but they are different, details as below
1.The blade is different between log washer and spiral sand washer Log washer blade is discontinuous spiral，blade of spiral sand washer is continuous.
2.The log washer can wash big size material and make strong scrubbing for the material, the spiral sand washing machine usually produce fine material such as silica sand, rive sand, fine mineral material etc.
3.Log washer has two unit shaft, and work together to make the raw materials be thoroughly washed, the spiral sand washing machine can adopt single shaft or double shaft.

4.The important function of Log washer is used to remove fine size clay without change the size of material, but it cannot be used to classifying the size, spiral sand washing machine can be used to both washing and classifying.
